GLIMPSE
Generic fLexIble Monitoring based on a Publish-Subscribe infrastructurE
Glimpse provides a system is in charge of performing complex event recognition, as well as observing and notifying timely specific events occurrences. This makes the system able to proactively select suitable mechanisms for guaranteeing self-recovery, self-configuration, and self-repairing of the application or SUT.
Publish / Subscribe design pattern through JMS extensible events applied for managing all the communication within the architecture in order to decoupling not only the locations of the publishers and subscribers, but also decouple them temporally.
The infrastructure is able to identify the main entities of the business process that are covered during its execution and raise a warning if some entities are not covered. At the same time, it can monitor KPI (Key Performance Indicator) declared within the Business Process Model.
Thanks to JMS, probes able to generate events can easily integrated in existing products or sensors. REST API available.
